2:30 – 5:30 PM
Edmonds
Community Centre
7433 Edmonds St, Burnaby
Join with hundreds of other families in Burnaby’s Edmonds community to launch the Holiday season at the Edmonds Festival of Lights!
Enjoy festive music featuring Santa’s Little Helpers and the Mellowdares, lots of holiday craft activities for the kids, hot dogs provided by the Burnaby Firefighters, popcorn and hot chocolate provided by Edmonds Youth, photobooth, several special guests in festive costumes, the Imagination Station, and of course, a visit and photos with Santa & Mrs Claus!
All the kids will receive a special passport when they arrive, and as they move through the Edmonds Gym, they’ll visit each of the booths where they can make different holiday crafts and also receive a sticker in their passport. Then, once they’ve filled their passport with all the stickers, they can submit it and be entered in a draw where one lucky child will have the chance to join with Santa Claus and Mayor Hurley at 5:15 pm to turn on the lights on the massive Christmas tree out on the Edmonds Plaza.
Everyone is welcome for this wonderful, FREE, family-friendly event at Edmonds Community Centre on Saturday, November 23!
